How Real Stone Cladding Z Panels Are Constructed
A heavy-duty natural stone Z panel is fundamentally different from a thin decorative stone tile. It uses thicker pieces of natural stone assembled into a reinforced modular panel, creating considerably greater depth, relief and mass.
Cement-Backed Stone Cladding Z Panels
Cement-backed panels combine substantial natural stone pieces with a reinforced backing system that helps lock the individual pieces together as one panel. Mesh-Backed Stone Cladding Z Panels

Heavy exterior natural stone cladding places substantially greater loads on the wall system, so adhesive coverage, substrate strength and installation height require careful consideration. Two stones of a similar colour can produce very different finished walls.
